Péter Pozsár and Ráday Dávid co-founders of Hello Wood will present most recent projects and goals of the Hello Wood studio, and also share their experience on the inspiring yet complex possibilities and challenges of developing a design studio while organising not-for-profit, international educational events as an independent agency in Hungary.
Hello Wood started as an art camp in 2010 for students in architecture and design and has grown into a unique award-winning summer academy involving leading universities and acclaimed professionals joining yearly from all around the world. It is a great platform that cooperates with artists, architects and studios with various objectives and agendas, but with a mutual interest in experimentation and building with "their own hands". It’s a learning environment where the ethos of "thinking with our hands" meets critical thinking. Hello Wood is also a design studio of architects and designers based in Budapest, focusing on temporary, wooden projects, seeking sustainable and replicable models for achieving social benefits.
