Creative Space Serbia is a concept that presents and promotes Serbia’s potential in creating new and innovative furniture design, as well as high-quality export-oriented furniture manufacturing. This is performed through the establishment of a direct cooperation between designers and manufacturers, with a result of highlighting their approach to modern living – a fine combination of futuristic, yet traditional Balkan style applied to eco - friendly furniture pieces that fascinate and capture viewer`s attention.
For 3 years Serbia Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA), organize and support the participation of Serbian designers at the international exhibition Salone Internazionale dei Mobiliin Milano, Italy. Creative Space Serbia began as the result of a contest by invitation initiated by the SIEPA a government agency which, for the last 3 years, has financed the presence of local designers at the Salone del Mobile, contributing to the growth of their visibility and to the experimentation of new proposals and means of expression. A confrontation which, this year, is enriched by the participation of a group of Serbian operated companies involved in contracting and interior decoration. They have been involved in all phases of development of this project with the objective to promote new relationships between industry and design professionals.
