Patrizia Donà

Patrizia Donà was born in 1972 in Zagreb where she graduated at the Faculty of Philosophy’s Department of Art History and Ethnology. She graduated Fashion Design at the Willem de Kooning Academy in 2006 and her final collection “Souvenirs d’ Enfance-La manufacture des Automates” was nominated for the Drempelprijs academy award.
Patrizia Donà currently lives and works between Amsterdam and Zagreb. She has focused her interest on redesigning ready made objects into series of wearable items, entitled “Objects to wear”. Hommage à Remington, first theme from the “Objects to wear” cycle, won a prize at 43rd Zagreb Salon in 2009.
She is a member of “Ulupuh” (The Croatian Association of Artists of Applied Arts).
